  1. Check the door to make sure it is properly functioning. You can check the track and chain alignment, fastening any screws, spraying the door sides and hinges with lubricant. Check also the door springs, a malfunctioning motor is repeatedly caused by the door springs. Do not try to remove the spring by yourself, ask for a professional assistance.
  2. Do not skip to check the basic. Basic things sometimes a culprit that a garage door opener forget to check. For example the power outlet, check whether it is well connected and try to switch the motor unit on. Try to remove and plug it in again and wait for about fifteen minutes before operating the garage door and give time for the motor to cool down. Try to check the lock feature is not activated.

Try to wipe the lens using a clean, soft rug or cloth. Check the wiring route and the wire of the beam sensors that connected to the motor unit.
  4. The garage door opener is also does not function because the remote is not properly programmed. Try to do the basic by changing the remote batteries with new one, after that try to reprogram the remote again.
